Various positions as Civil Service Administrator in the areas of environment, housing, town planning and transportation.
Among others, General Manager of the public city planning establishment of Cergy-Pontoise in 1990-1993 and Head of the Land Transport (1993-1995).

Senior level Public Management:
Under secretary of state for transport (1995-1997).
Congressman for Yvelines (1997-2002).
Regional Councillor for the Ile de France Region.
Under secretary of State for foreign trade (2008-2010).

Company Management:
Chairman and CEO of RATP (Paris Transport public company).
Chairman of SNCF (French National Railways Company).

Present mandates:
Member of the Board: Bouygues, Saint Gobain, Total, JSC-FPC (Russia) and Mediobianca (Italy)
Member of supervisory board: Vallourec.
Senior advisor of Suez-environnement and SIA-Partners.
